The Coaches' Award is the only award that we give to an individual player. Each year the coaches select a young man for reasons that the staff sees as critical to our team.

DJ Ritchie
We are proud to have DJ Ritchie as the 2007 Coaches' Award winner. When DJ came to the Crusaders as a junior, he was a quarterback. We moved him to defensive line where he excelled and never complained. As a senior, he stepped up in front of his peers and was obedient to Jesus Christ by getting baptized. This year, once again, he shifted positions to Linebacker and Tailback. He recruited others to play with us and made us all proud as he matured as a player and a young man. DJ's unselfish attitude makes him a true pleasure to coach.
